At Tending Roots Acupuncture, we specialize in Five Element Acupuncture to nurture the core elements of health. By enhancing the fundamental aspects of well-being and addressing root causes rather than just symptoms, long-term wellness and resiliency can be achieved.
Our approach promotes physical, mental, and emotional well-being through traditional acupuncture techniques, combined with tailored diet, lifestyle, and preventative care recommendations. We are dedicated to understanding your unique health needs and addressing the root causes of your imbalance. Because every patient is different, each treatment is personalized and designed specifically for you.
Our practice is built on the belief that genuine wellness starts from the roots, and we are dedicated to nurturing and strengthening the foundation of your health.
Ashley is a Board-Certified Acupuncturist with a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and a registered nurse.
Ashley's journey in caring for others began when she entered the nursing field in 2007. As a bedside nurse, she found deep fulfillment in supporting patients and their families through various health challenges. However, she also witnessed the symptom-focused approach of Western medicine, which often overlooked the patient as a whole person. Over time, it became clear to her that many patients would benefit from a more holistic approach to healthcare.
Ashley's journey with acupuncture began in 2019 when she sought relief for persistent neck pain. After trying various treatments with limited success, she decided to try acupuncture on a whim. A few sessions later, her neck pain was gone. Unlike other treatments, acupuncture addressed Ashley as a whole person—mind, body, and emotions—focusing on the root cause rather than just the symptoms. This transformative experience marked a pivotal moment in Ashley's healthcare career, revealing a more authentic and effective way to serve others.
Ashley completed her Master's in Acupuncture in 2023. Drawing on her experience in both Western medicine and acupuncture, she is dedicated to helping patients not only improve their health but also thrive. Passionate about addressing the root causes of symptoms, Ashley sees each patient as a unique individual rather than a collection of symptoms. She is committed to educating and empowering her patients to build their health from the ground up, creating a strong and lasting foundation for overall well-being.
Ashley is out of the office and unavailable via email until April 8th. Feel free to reach out, and she’ll respond as soon as she returns.
